On June 16, 2023, Missions 196 was invited to the ceremony and present to introduce guests to other maritime rescue services.
One of the missions of the 24F, with its Falcon 50M, is SAR (Search and Rescue), which involves locating individuals or vessels at sea to guide rescuers (boats or helicopters). The Falcon has sea marking equipment (coloring) to facilitate location, as well as lifeboats that it drops so that the victim(s) can reach safety while help arrives, especially if the victim is far from the coast.
