On this Sunday, August 6, 2023, the SNSM of Camaret sur Mer very kindly trusted me for the second time to share with the public some games of Missions 196. The opportunity to spend a good time with the children for some missions but also the adults who are discovering the game.
It was also an opportunity, during the course of conversation, to raise awareness about the 196 emergency number, which is not yet widely known, even among seafarers.
For the occasion, MACIF, an active partner of the SNSM (French Maritime Safety Service), very kindly sent me something to spoil the children with: “Mini Lifeguard” caps, “Mini Lifeguard” first aid kits, and UV-indicator bracelets.
Once again, the station held rescue demonstrations during the afternoon, with the highlight being the French Navy’s NH90 helicopter.
